Community Employment Services
Northwest Ohio businesses count on workers with developmental disabilities to be an integral part of the community workforce through Community Employment Services.

Since 1985, CES has been a national leader and one of the first community employment programs in the state. CES utilizes the nationally recognized “Supported Work Model” to ensure worker’s success on the job.

The model includes four essential components that include:
  • an assessment of the worker’s abilities,
  • securing a position for the worker through job development,
  • providing the necessary job coaching for the worker and
  • providing on-going support to the worker and employer
Depending upon the type of position needed by the employer, CES can secure prospective employees for independent positions or in small groups who are supported by a professional job coach.

Businesses can count on CES to secure workers who take pride in their work and meet the quality standards needed for the job. Prospective employees can be hired for permanent positions or for long-term or short-term positions. All CES services are designed and delivered to meet the individual needs of the persons served while providing Wood County businesses with competent employees.
